To create warmth and charm that can only be achieved from solid natural wood, Olivers use traditional timbers of the finest grade to faithfully replicate the look and feel of period switches. We choose stock from carefully managed areas supporting sustainable yield and re-forestation projects.

Our products are satin lacquered then hand finished with beeswax to enhance the natural beauty of our plinths, making Olivers the number one choice for high quality restorations. Each product can be specified in any of the following options:
       
 
Natural Oak Selected American White Oak, finely sanded and prepared to accept any finish, allowing the designer or restorer to match any interior, be it painted, stained, waxed or limed.
Tudor Oak Oak chosen with a lively grain structure, stained dark brown to complement the cottage feel of early oak framed buildings.
Honey Oak Stained and lacquered to a warm golden colour, similar to that of aged country pine, complementing both contemporary and traditional decor.
Antique Mahogany Produced from a wood with a similar grain pattern to the original Victorian Mahoganies, coloured to a dark reddish brown, sympathetic to the interiors of that era.
