The Eton wall light is a contemporary design with a sense of Art Deco styling. This light is the perfect companion for Olivers’ Albany light switches and Churchill sockets. The hardwood pattress and angular stem are available in any of the finishes available throughout the Olivers Range.

How could we improve our on-line shop?

1. Products on offer
The switches and sockets are manufactured and assembled to order, hence why we don’t have special offers, sorry.

2. Identify postage and packaging before order
The software we used to build the shop only adds postage when a customer confirms their order prior to payment. This is mainly designed for shops that price per weight/quantity and need all quantity information prior to postage costs being calculated. Olivers have a standard price of £5.00 per order or £9.00 if purchasing wall lights, but the shop will again only add this once the order is confirmed, prior to payment.

Always read the Terms & Conditions of any on-line shop prior to purchase, especially if you haven’t used them before. Under our terms & conditions you will find the following information - All UK orders are charged at a flat rate of £4.17 (+VAT) for postage & packing, with the exception of Olivers’ wall lights, which are charged at £7.50 (+VAT) per order.

4. Include VAT
VAT is shown next to each product, in the shopping basket and at checkout.

5. Could have pictures showing switches from different angles etc. – (Please) have a picture of each colour of switch and wood.
There are plans for this in the future.

7. Images of what you’ve ordered in basket
I’m afraid this isn’t possible using our existing software.

Olivers Lighting Company will be closed from Friday 23rd December and open again on Tuesday 3rd January 2012.

During this period customers will be able to purchase our reproduction light switches and electrical sockets through our on-line shop, but please be aware that orders will not be dispatched until after 3rd January 2011.

Those eagle eyed amongst you may have spotted the following Olivers Lighting advert in Period Ideas this month. We’ve been working on a new range of high quality lighting to complement our switches and sockets. As occasionally happens we’ve had a couple of delays with the supply of parts, and this has resulted in us falling a couple of weeks behind schedule.
